    On May 13, 2026, the Faculty of International Relations of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy organized the “Student Forum on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – 2026.” The event was led by the Dean of the Faculty, M. Abdullayeva, together with the faculty members of the Department of Political Science - M. Abdurakhmanova, N. Kushaeva, and D. Khudoyberganova.

    During the forum, participants were provided with an opportunity to analyze contemporary global challenges based on their academic research, examine their causes and consequences, and develop practical recommendations. Students explored the experiences of various countries, conducted comparative analyses of their approaches to implementing the Sustainable Development Goals, and presented their own solutions and proposals regarding existing issues.

    Particular attention within the forum was devoted to issues such as environmental security, social equality, poverty reduction, quality education, gender equality, and international cooperation.

    The forum served as an academic platform for young researchers, fostering the development of innovative and critical thinking among students. The theses prepared by participants were reviewed by experts, and the best research works were recognized and awarded across several nominations.

    At the conclusion of the event, special emphasis was placed on the importance of supporting youth initiatives and enhancing the role of young people in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
