Role in Quality Assurance and Academic Development
The Educational and Methodological Council is an important component of the University's internal quality assurance system. It reviews whether educational programmes and course content correspond to current academic requirements, labour market needs, international experience, and the strategic priorities of the University.
Course syllabi are first subject to internal and external expert review and are discussed at department level with the participation of specialists and students. After that, they are submitted to the Educational and Methodological Council for consideration. Positively reviewed syllabi are approved by the First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and introduced into the academic process.
