    In order to ensure the fulfillment of the tasks identified at the videoconference meeting of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the formation of a safe environment and the creation of exemplary practices for effective public security in the city of Tashkent, a propaganda event was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy on the topic “Organization of measures to combat and prevent cybercrime, drug addiction and delinquency among youth”.

    The main purpose of this propaganda event was to prevent cybercrime, drug addiction and various offenses among young people, to inform them about modern threats, harmful information disseminated through the Internet and social networks, as well as to increase legal awareness, legal culture and a sense of responsibility among students.

    During the event, cases of cybercrime among young people, methods of their commission, illegal trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, as well as social and legal consequences of offenses were covered in detail. At the same time, special attention was paid to the formation of a healthy lifestyle, the rejection of bad habits and the meaningful organization of leisure time for young people.

    The promotional event was organized in the form of an open dialogue. The participants were given practical recommendations on the prevention of offenses, compliance with precautions when using the Internet, protection of personal data, and the need to know and comply with the requirements established by law was emphasized.

    Also during the event, issues of improving the legal literacy of young people, forming their intolerant attitude to offenses, ensuring a safe and stable social environment were discussed. Specialists gave reasonable and detailed answers to students' questions.

    Summing up, we can say that this propaganda event played an important role in the prevention of cybercrime, drug addiction and other offenses among young people studying at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, raising legal awareness and culture, as well as creating a safe and healthy social environment. In the future, it is planned to continue conducting propaganda and preventive activities in this direction on a systematic basis.
