On September 17, 2026, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a spiritual, educational, socio-psychological, and creative challenge titled “One Motherland, One People — Together We Will Create a Great Future”, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event was aimed at strengthening love for the Motherland, national pride, and civic responsibility in the hearts of young people, as well as fostering mutual respect, friendly relations, collective cohesion, and psychological well-being within the university.
As part of the challenge, an information and educational corner titled “National Values — a Symbol of National Identity” was organized, reflecting the ideas of Independence, national values, devotion to the Motherland, peace, and harmony. Additionally, through presentations by youth clubs and initiatives, students were introduced to the opportunities available at the university.
As part of the socio-psychological activities, university psychologist Nargiza Norova conducted an interactive art therapy session on the topic “My Motherland is My Pride, My Future is My Confidence”. During the session, students used creative assignments to express their ideas about the Motherland, peace, friendship, solidarity, and the future.
Furthermore, during a bibliotherapy session on the topic “The Spirit of the Motherland in Poetry and Oral Folk Art”, participants exchanged views based on poems, proverbs, and wise sayings that glorify love for the Motherland, peace, unity, and kindness.
During the sessions, special attention was paid to socio-psychological skills such as listening to one another, respecting others' opinions, communicating freely, collaborating, and working in a team. This helped promote aspects of the “Healthy University” concept, such as a healthy social environment, inclusivity, cooperation, and psychological well-being.
At the conclusion of the event, students who demonstrated active participation, initiative, and a creative approach were awarded certificates and commemorative gifts.
This challenge, embodying a sense of involvement in the fate of the Motherland, national values, collective cohesion, and psychological well-being, served to foster a healthy and friendly atmosphere at the university.
