Annual educational project «Environmental Awareness Day» was held by the English language department. The event brought together first-year students, members of the university community and students from neighboring schools and communities.

During the event, students presented their own posters and mini-studies dedicated to key environmental challenges of today. The topics addressed - «Air pollution», «Growth of plastic waste», «Negative impact of concrete construction on the environment», «Loss of biodiversity» and «Accelerating climate change». Each group conducted its own analysis of the problem, studied statistics, survey results, and then presented its findings in English.

Special attention was paid to the contribution of young people in the implementation of «UN sustainable development goals», especially SDG 13 «Fight against climate change». Students prepared practical proposals on carbon footprint reduction, resource management and development of ecological culture in the university environment.

The guests of the event noted the high level of preparation of participants, the variety of ideas presented and the importance of such initiatives for forming an environmentally conscious generation. «Environmental Awareness Day» has become not only a platform for knowledge sharing, but also an inspiring example of how students can influence the solution of global problems.
