    UWED Students Took Part in the Second Summer School of the Turkic World in Istanbul

    From June 23 to June 27, 2025, students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) took part in the Second Summer School of the Turkic World on the topic "The Rise of the Turkic World", which was held in Istanbul (Republic of Turkey).

    The event was jointly organized by the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and Ibn Khaldun University. Its goal is to strengthen cultural, scientific and intellectual ties between the Turkic peoples, develop youth cooperation and deepen integration processes.

    The main topics of the school:

    ü History, culture and languages of the Turkic peoples;

    ü Modern political and economic relations between the Turkic states;

    ü Prospects for regional cooperation;

    ü Formation of an integrative consciousness among young people based on common values.

    The program included:

    ·        interactive seminars;

    ·        open lectures;

    ·        discussions with experts.

    Students, researchers and specialists from different Turkic countries participated in the work of the school.

    Within the framework of the summer school, the Deputy Secretary General of the OTS Mirvohid Azimov spoke at the seminar "Orkhon Process and the Union of Turkic Universities (TURKUNIB)". In his speech, he stressed the importance of:

    §   academic integration;

    §   student exchange programs;

    §   joint scientific research between universities of Turkic countries.

    For UWED students, the summer school was an opportunity to deepen knowledgeabout the Turkic world, a platform for establishing international contacts and an important step in the formation of future specialists in the field of Turkic cooperation.

    The event contributed to the development of intercultural dialogue, the formation of modern approaches to solving regional problems and the strengthening of friendly ties between the countries of the Turkic world.
