On November 24 of this year, the head of Romano-Germanic Languages Department, Vasila Mamatkasimova, and French language teacher Gulasal Rofiyeva are participating in events within the framework of BRM, organized by the French organization A.S.I.E (International Unity and Education Organization).

During the event, a cooperation agreement between A.S.I.E. and UWED was signed, and agreements were reached to expand bilateral relations. A presentation was also made about the university’s activities and work within the framework of BRM. As part of the cooperation with the organization, opportunities were discussed for organizing short-term internships for students studying French at regular BRM events held by A.S.I.E.

It is known that in June of this year, 4th-year student of UWED Dinara Ishbaeva became the winner of the Service civique contest organized by this organization. Currently, D. Ishbaeva is preparing presentations on issues of ecology, poverty alleviation, and reducing inequality for BRM events organized by A.S.I.E.

During the visit, the organization’s experience in ensuring youth activity to achieve sustainable development goals was studied. An agreement was reached to conduct practical seminars with students studying French on issues of ecology, environmental protection, combating waste, reducing waste, and inequality.
