On June 20 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted an international scientific seminar on the topic:

"Modern Research Methodology in Political Science and Principles of Publication in Leading Indexed Platforms".

The forum, organized by the editorial board of the UWED journal "International Relations: Politics, Economics, Law", was attended by scientists and experts from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China and Pakistan, as well as students, undergraduates and doctoral students of UWED.

  The participants of the scientific seminar were greeted by the First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Akram Umarov, Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation and Economics Muzaffar Jalalov, Advisor to the Rector of UWED Sherzod Abdullayev.

Representatives of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies - Vice-Rector D. Sayfullaev and Professor N. Karimov, President of the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies, Dr. Farhad Asif (Pakistan), Head of the Department of International Relations of the Al-Farabi National University (Kazakhstan) L. Delovarova and Senior Researcher of the Institute of International and Regional Studies (IIAS) of Tsinghua University (China) Yang Zitong, as well as Professors of UWED G. Raimov and G. Dzhumaev.

The seminar touched upon modern approaches to political research, geopolitics and international scientific standards of publications.

In the final part, a discussion was held on the designated topic. The scientific forum provided an opportunity to share the accumulated experience and draw practical conclusions for future research.
