    21-22 April 2026 as part of the “Philosophy” course, first-year students of the Faculty of International Relations visited the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent.

    The visit was dedicated to the topic “Philosophy of the Eastern Renaissance” and the role of great thinkers in shaping the scientific and cultural heritage of the region. During the visit, students explored the Center’s exhibitions, which reflect the development of Islamic civilization and the contribution of Eastern scholars to world science and philosophy.

    Special attention was given to the legacy of thinkers such as Abu Nasr al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, Abu Rayhan al-Biruni, Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi, Ahmad al-Fargani, and Omar Khayyam. Their ideas cover fields such as philosophy, logic, medicine, mathematics, and astronomy, and have had a significant impact on the development of world civilization.

    During the visit, students discussed the importance of the Eastern Renaissance for modern scientific and cultural development, emphasizing the relevance of humanistic and rational ideas of Eastern thinkers.

    The visit to the Center became an important part of the philosophy course, contributing to the deepening of knowledge and the expansion of students’ historical and cultural understanding.
