UWED Continues Its Efforts to Support Students’ Psychological Well-Being and Develop a Healthy University Environment

At the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, seminars and training sessions, psychological round-table discussions, and meetings are regularly organized to strengthen the socio-psychological and spiritual-educational environment among students, support their psychological well-being, and promote a healthy and safe university environment.
These activities are carried out in cooperation with University Psychologist N. Norova, coordinators, and prevention inspectors and are aimed at supporting students’ socio-psychological adaptation to the university environment, developing healthy interpersonal relationships, strengthening mutual respect and communication culture, preventing stressful and conflict situations, and developing responsible and safe behavior skills.
During the sessions, particular attention is paid to developing students’ self-awareness, emotional resilience, stress-management skills, effective communication, social responsibility, and knowledge and skills related to a healthy lifestyle.
This work is carried out in line with the “Healthy University” Concept and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly contributing to the areas of Good Health and Well-Being, Quality Education, Gender Equality, and Reduced Inequalities.
Furthermore, this approach is aligned with important principles of modern higher education, including student well-being, psychological support, a safe and inclusive learning environment, and a preventive approach. In particular, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals identify areas related to psychological well-being, quality and inclusive education, and the promotion of equal opportunities.
Through systematically organized seminars and training sessions, psychological round-table discussions, and meetings, UWED continues its efforts to strengthen a healthy socio-psychological environment, support students, and encourage their active participation in university life.
