Within the framework of the bilateral cooperation agreement signed in 2024 between the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) and Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKU), the scope of inter-university scientific and pedagogical relations continues to expand. As a practical manifestation of this partnership, UWED representatives participated in the prestigious IV International Conference on "XXI Century Education Research" (INER CONGRESS 2026), hosted by MAKU in Burdur, Türkiye, from May 7-9. During the conference, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Uzbek and Russian Languages at UWED, PhD Shakhnoza Khudaykulova, and Lecturer of the Department of European and Turkic Languages, Muborak Madrakhimova, presented their research papers.

The research findings presented by our university representatives, focusing on axiolinguistics, cultural diplomacy, and the preservation of linguistic values, attracted significant attention from international experts. In particular, the study provided a comprehensive analysis of the role of national codes in language education and their linguistic transformation in the era of globalization. Innovative approaches to preserving communication etiquette and national identity in the digital space sparked great interest among international academic circles. These conceptual conclusions were highly appreciated as a vital tool for strengthening interstate trust within modern cultural diplomacy.

As a logical extension of the visit, Shakhnoza Khudaykulova conducted a masterclass for 3rd-year students of the Faculty of Education at MAKU on the topic: "Harmony of Language, Literature, and Values: A New Stage of Cultural Diplomacy." This session was organized in close cooperation and with the direct support of MAKU Professor Hakan Ulper. The UWED representative drew the students' attention to the growing role of language in modern diplomacy, analyzing it as the most effective "soft power" instrument for establishing mutual trust in international dialogue.

The activities carried out during this scientific-pedagogical visit will serve to elevate the multifaceted relations between the two brotherly universities to a qualitatively new level. This international dialogue, which has become a practical arena for not only academic exchange but also cultural and educational diplomacy, creates extensive opportunities for enhancing the professional skills of faculty members and intensifying the exchange of experience. The visit is particularly significant as it establishes a solid foundation for launching joint scientific projects and fundamental research on the comparative study of common Turkic cultural heritage and linguistic values. Such systematic cooperation will contribute to further strengthening the prestige of both higher education institutions within the international academic community and their unification toward common scientific goals.
