UWED Representatives Organized an Outreach Event for School Students

On May 1, 2026, at the initiative of J. Abdupattakhov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Oriental Languages, an outreach educational event was organized at Specialized Secondary School No. 186 in Tashkent. The event was dedicated to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 — ensuring quality education and creating equal opportunities for all.

The event brought together 10th-grade students who received answers to their questions regarding modern education, career choices, and future academic opportunities. The main purpose of the meeting was to broaden young people’s understanding of the educational reforms being implemented in the country, existing academic opportunities, and the role of quality education in social development.

During the event, students were provided with detailed information about the state policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at modernizing the education system, supporting youth, and expanding access to quality education. The participants also received explanations regarding admission procedures to higher educational institutions, state grants, and student support programs.

In addition, participants were introduced to the educational programs offered at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the specifics of the academic process, international cooperation projects, and opportunities created for students. Students were also informed about the university’s faculties, foreign language learning opportunities, scientific activities, and future career prospects for graduates.

The event contributed to expanding students’ knowledge about the education system, deepening their understanding of the importance of quality education, and increasing their awareness of existing educational opportunities.
