“Fostering a sense of pride in one’s homeland is an important factor in enhancing human dignity.” Based on this idea, an educational and awareness-raising event was organized on the eve of the Day of Memory and Honor at the initiative of University of World Economy and Diplomacy and its Women’s Advisory Council.

The visit was attended by the Chair of the Council, Professor E. Sultanova, the Coordinator of the Faculty of International Relations M. Abdurakhmanova, as well as activists of the “Leader Girls” movement. Students and master’s degree participants had the opportunity to closely familiarize themselves with the activities of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the visit, participants were provided with detailed information about the Committee’s multifaceted activities aimed at ensuring national security, protecting economic interests, and preventing illegal activities. They also explored modern operational mechanisms, areas of international cooperation, and innovative approaches within the customs system.

This event contributed to strengthening the participants’ sense of patriotism, respect for national interests, and responsibility toward the state. The students expressed their sincere gratitude to the Committee’s personnel, who work around the clock to safeguard peace and stability in the country.

Future diplomats emphasized their readiness to make a meaningful contribution to the development of the country, noting that this is not only a professional duty but also a universal human responsibility.
