On April 16, 2026, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) hosted a republican scientific-practical conference titled “Labor Dispute Resolution: Theory and Practice”. The forum was organized by the Department of Civil Law and Private International Law. Conducted in a hybrid (online and offline) format, the conference brought together leading scholars, legal practitioners, judges, and young researchers.

The primary objective of the event was to conduct a profound analysis of theoretical and practical issues in the field of labor dispute resolution and to enhance mechanisms for the effective protection of the rights and legal interests of both employees and employers. Furthermore, special emphasis was placed on identifying gaps in national legislation and formulating scientific and practical proposals to address them.

The conference successfully integrated judicial practice with academic approaches, creating an effective platform for dialogue between theory and practice. Participants emphasized that the insights and proposals shared by the speakers will play a crucial role in the further advancement of labor law.

Additionally, the convention served as a vital platform for experience sharing among representatives of various organizations, university faculty, and specialized legal practitioners.
