    As part of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and to enhance students’ knowledge in civil law relations, a master class was held on March 18 of the current year at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

    The event was attended by legal assistants of the law firm “Capstone and Legal Partners,” Amirbek Aymuratov and Iqlasbay Amanbayev, as well as the Head of the Department of Civil Law and Private International Law disciplines, Sherzodbek Masadikov, Professor Nargiza Doroyevna, lecturer Shohrukh Umirzoqov, and second-year students of the Faculty of International Law.

    During the master class, practitioners shared their views on the specifics of construction (contractor) agreements in civil legal relations.Students showed great interest in the discussed topics, asked various questions regarding identifying key terms of contracts, defining obligations, and the specifics of proving liability, and received detailed answers from the experts.

    This master class is in line with the principles of Sustainable Development Goal 16 – “Promote peaceful and inclusive societies, ensure access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and participatory institutions at all levels, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals”, in particular, paragraph 16.3 – “Promote the rule of law and ensure equal access to justice for all” and paragraph 16.7 – “Enhance the participation of citizens, business entities and civil society organizations in decision-making at all levels of government”.
