The First Meeting of the Notaries Club was held at the UWED

On April 1, 2026, the first meeting of the Notaries Club, organized for law students particularly those of the Faculty of International Law was held at the UWED Legal Clinic. The event was organized by Nigina Muratovna Azizova, a lecturer of the Department of International Law and Public Law Disciplines, in cooperation with Candidate of Legal Sciences Ziyodulla Sagdullayevich Ubaydullayev and Zulfiya Enverovna Usmonova, Senior Consultant of the Tashkent City Territorial Department of the Notarial Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, in order to discuss the organizational and legal foundations of the Club’s activities, the Head of the Department of International Law and Public Law Disciplines, Nargiza Rashitovna Kadirova, was invited.
Participants also reviewed the draft Regulation and Charter of the Notaries Club, as well as discussed a calendar plan for upcoming events.
Particular attention was paid to developing proposals for the Club’s future activities. Participants emphasized the importance of holding regular master classes with practicing notaries aimed at developing students’ professional skills. In addition, the initiative to organize meetings with consuls performing notarial acts abroad was supported, which would allow students to become familiar with the specifics of notarial practice in an international context.
Within the framework of the meeting, a representative of the Notarial Chamber also shared her professional experience and provided information on current trends in the development of the notarial field.
Such events contribute to strengthening cooperation between the academic environment and the professional community, as well as enhancing the practical training of future lawyers.
It is planned that the activities of the Notaries Club will be carried out systematically and will become an effective platform for students’ professional development.
