The “Zakovat” Intellectual Game was held in English for the First Time at UWED

On April 4 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted the university stage of the “Zakovat” intellectual game, which aims to develop intellectual potential among youth. For the first time, the competition was conducted in English. A total of 20 teams participated, and the highest-scoring teams advanced to the next stage.
Holding the “Zakovat” game in English not only enhanced students’ knowledge, but also contributed to the development of their language proficiency, analytical thinking, quick decision-making, and teamwork skills. The competition encouraged participants to strengthen logical reasoning, strategic approaches, and information-processing abilities.
During the event, the scientific and educational significance of the competition was emphasized, and recommendations were given to further expand intellectual activities, foster students’ academic growth, and strengthen their foreign-language competencies.
The English-language stage of “Zakovat” not only increased students’ interest in learning, but also played an important role in promoting a healthy competitive environment, creative thinking, and an open intellectual atmosphere at the university.
