On 10 December, an outreach seminar-training entitled “Modern Information Technologies, Systems Security, and Artificial Intelligence” was delivered at School No. 134 with the participation of lecturers from University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED).

The session aimed to equip teachers with up-to-date knowledge on information technology security, the role of artificial intelligence in education, and the potential security implications of AI-enabled tools.

Discussions covered data protection and internet safety, alongside the opportunities and challenges of using AI in teaching and learning. Practical recommendations were provided on using digital tools responsibly, strengthening students’ information security, and preventing harmful online exposure.

The seminar also addressed digital literacy, teacher monitoring of students’ online behaviour, and more effective approaches to assessing and developing learning outcomes. Overall, the initiative supports a safer, skills-based learning environment and aligns naturally with the broader SDG agenda.
