The UWED team was recognized as the winner of the Second Runner-Up Team

On February 6–8 of this year, the national rounds of the “Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition – 2026” were held at Tashkent State University of Law.
In this prestigious competition, the “UWED Jessup” team, consisting of students of the Faculty of International Law of UWED — Sevara Sadikova, Sevinch Ismoilova, Ubaydullo Imomov, and Feruzakhon Shodmonkhonova — performed with distinction and was recognized as the Second Runner-Up Team.
The team was coached by Surayyo Usmanova, Acting Professor of the Department of International Law and Public Law, and Kumushkhon Abdumutalimova, a lawyer at the Kosta Legal law firm.
Within the national rounds, the UWED team competed against teams from Tashkent State University of Law, Westminster International University, the Academy of Law Enforcement, the National University named after Mirzo Ulugbek, and Karakalpakstan State University, and the speakers received high scores.
For reference, the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition is the largest and most prestigious competition in the field of international law, with more than 700 university teams from nearly 100 countries participating.
