Second-year students of the Faculty of International Relations at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) organized a “Skills Workshop” at a special vocational college for children with disabilities located in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent, as part of the “Sustainable Development Goals” course.

During the event, students actively engaged with children with disabilities, conducting activities tailored to their specialized fields of study. These sessions helped foster the children’s interest and motivation to pursue their place in society. The multi-stage workshops also allowed the children to temporarily forget their limitations and strengthened their confidence and enthusiasm for life.

Through this initiative, UWED students gained a deeper understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals, recognizing the importance of fostering a friendly and inclusive society, ensuring that no one is left behind, and promoting daily acts of kindness and goodwill as essential tools for a meaningful and fulfilling life.

At the conclusion of the workshops, participants who actively took part in the activities received commemorative gifts. The college administration and students expressed their sincere gratitude to UWED students for their visit and active involvement in the event.
