On June 5, 2026, a knowledge-based quiz competition was organized for students of the Faculty of International Relations under the guidance of the faculty members of the Department of Political Science at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
The primary objective of the event was to enhance students’ political literacy, develop their ability to analyze political processes, and strengthen their decision-making skills. The quiz was designed in line with Goal 4 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – “Quality Education” – and aimed to promote the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical learning while fostering the intellectual development of students.
Furthermore, the event assessed students’ knowledge and competencies through questions related to the functioning of political institutions, the rule of law, mechanisms of public administration, and contemporary global political processes. In this regard, the initiative was implemented in accordance with SDG 16 – “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.”
During the quiz, participants demonstrated their knowledge of international organizations, global governance systems, and current political trends. At the conclusion of the event, certificates were awarded to students who achieved outstanding results and actively participated in the competition.
The event contributed to the enhancement of students’ political culture and civic engagement, strengthened their sense of involvement in socio-political processes, and enriched their understanding of contemporary issues in international relations and governance.
