On 5 February 2026, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted the EY Career Launch Day: PAS (People Advisory Services) lecture in cooperation with EY Uzbekistan.

The event was organized by the University’s Alumni Engagement and Professional Development Unit and introduced students to Ernst and Young (EY), providing an overview of the company’s global operations, key service lines, and organizational structure.

The main focus of the session was People Advisory Services (PAS). The speakers noted that PAS was established in 2015 and encompasses not only traditional HR services, but also organizational transformation, change management, the HR business partner model, and strategic talent management. The session also covered the core PAS practice areas - Workforce Advisory (WFA) and Global Mobility & Payroll (GM) - as well as the key competencies required to work in this field.

Representatives of Ernst and Young’s People Advisory Services practice - Renata Latipova (Senior Consultant, People Advisory Services), Nursultan Hamidov (Consultant, People Advisory Services), and Kamshat Mendigaliyeva (HR Specialist) - participated as speakers at the event.

At the conclusion of the session, students received practical insights into career opportunities at EY, recruitment processes, and the skills and competencies required for successful professional development in an international corporate environment.
