On December 3 of this year, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the course coordinator of the Faculty of International Relations G. Mansurova held an educational lesson for 2nd year students dedicated to the "International Anti-Corruption Day".

The main goal of the event is to form students' irreconcilable attitude to corruption, deep awareness of the importance of the principles of honesty and justice, as well as strengthening their legal awareness.

During the lesson, students were provided with detailed information about the consequences of corruption at the international level, effective mechanisms used in world practice, the legal framework for combating corruption and the role of young people in this process. In particular, the students were widely briefed on the strategic reforms of Uzbekistan in this direction, the regulations adopted in recent years and innovations implemented in the policy of integrity.

Since the event was held within the framework of the "Anti-Corruption Month", some proposals were put forward at the class to strengthen preventive work against corruption and promote a culture of integrity among students. In particular, an initiative was put forward to create a public movement "Anti-Corruption Volunteers" at the university.

🔹organization of educational activities aimed at preventing corruption cases,

🔹the broad promotion of the principles of honesty and transparency,

🔹increasing responsibility and civic vigilance among students,

🔹strengthening the atmosphere of honesty and the system of mutual control in the educational institution.

Students enthusiastically supported this initiative and offered practical suggestions for the effective implementation of this movement at the faculty level. It was noted that this movement would become an important platform for further developing the integrity policy at UWED and fostering a conscious immunity to corruption.
