From 26 to 28 November 2025, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) hosted the career week “UWED Career Fair 2025”. Over three days, the UWED campus turned into a dynamic platform for dialogue between students, graduates and leading employers from Uzbekistan and the wider region.

The events were organised and coordinated by the Alumni Engagement and Professional Development Unit of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, in close cooperation with the UWED administration and partner companies.

HR & Employers Day – connecting students and employers

Within the framework of the career week, HR & Employers Day was dedicated to supporting UWED students and graduates in entering the labour market. The key objective of the day was to bring representatives of leading companies operating in Uzbekistan and the region to the UWED campus and, through direct interaction, familiarise students with their HR policies, internship programmes and practical expectations towards young specialists.

The programme was opened by Mr Muzaffar Djalalov, Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation and Economy, who officially launched the career week and underlined the importance of UWED’s strategic cooperation with employers.
