took appropriate measures to introduce a transparent, open and competitive system for the recruitment of course coordinators (tutors).
As part of this process, information about available vacancies for the position of course coordinator (tutor), selection criteria and information about the candidates hired were published on the official website of the university: https://www.uwed.uz/vacancies
1. General information
The University of World Economy and Diplomacy has 3 faculties. As of 2025, there are 3 vacant course coordinator (tutor) positions at the Faculty of International Economics and Management.
2. Activities of the Competition Commission
On the basis of the order of the university, a commission was created to hire teachers and other employees on a competitive basis. This commission held 4 meetings in October-November 2025.
The commission reviewed the documents of 36 candidates and interviewed them. The assessment was carried out on the basis of such criteria as professional qualifications, communication skills, skills in working with students, initiative, as well as the level of knowledge of the current regulatory documents on the higher education system.
3. Results of the competition
According to the results of the competition:
5 candidates were given a positive opinion on their appointment to the position of course coordinator (tutor);
31 candidates were not recommended for the position on the basis of the decision of the commission.
4. Regulatory framework
The processes of hiring course coordinators (tutors) are carried out on the basis of the Regulation "On the procedure for organizing tutoring activities in higher educational institutions", approved by Appendix No1 to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 17, 2025 No 656.

As defined in this Regulation, in the recruitment process, special attention was paid to the professional training of candidates, experience of working with students, as well as their moral and ethical qualities.
Conclusion
The process of hiring course coordinators (tutors) at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy was carried out on the basis of the principles of openness, transparency and competitive selection, in accordance with the requirements of current regulatory documents and internal rules of the university.
This process contributes to a more effective organization of the educational process at the university, strengthening an individual approach to students and providing them with social and psychological support.
