First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of the UWED Sodyq Safoev held a meeting with the delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany led by the State Minister for European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Günther Kriechbaum.

During the conversation, the parties noted the high level of Uzbek-German relations, based on the principles of mutual trust and strategic partnership. The importance of active political dialogue at the highest level, which gives stable dynamics to bilateral cooperation, was emphasized.

The prospects for further deepening inter-parliamentary interaction were considered, including intensifying contacts between relevant committees, cooperation groups and organizing mutual visits.

An exchange of views took place regarding the development of trade, economic, investment ties, interaction in the field of education, culture and healthcare.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the further development of mutually beneficial ties between Uzbekistan and Germany.
