On October 17 of this year, a successful origami master class was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy as part of the Japanese Language Club.

The event was organized by the Department of Oriental Languages of the UWED and 3rd year students of the Faculty of International Relations and International Economic Management.

The event brought together over 50 participants of all ages, demonstrating how the art of folding various figures from a sheet of paper, usually square, without the use of glue and scissors, can be an effective and exciting tool for developing important skills.

The master class was designed not only to introduce the participants to traditional Japanese art, but also to show its educational value. Origami stimulates the development of spatial and logical thinking, contributes to the development of critical thinking skills and perseverance. These skills are key elements of quality education.

Such events promote intercultural dialogue and strengthen respect for cultural, religious and linguistic diversity.

At the end of the master class, the participants presented their works and shared their impressions.
