The University of World Economy and Diplomacy continues the cycle of educational meetings “Kelajak soati” (Time of the Future). The next event, held on October 15, 2025, was dedicated to the theme “Our Eternal Cities”.

Professor of the Department of International Economics I.R. Mavlyanov spoke to the students. In his lecture, he highlighted the significant contribution of ancient cities - Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Urgench, Kokand, Tashkent, Shakhrisabz, Termez, Margilan and Karshi - to the historical, cultural and economic heritage of the region. The professor not only described their common features, but also briefly acquainted the audience with the unique history of each city.

The format of the event was interactive: the lecture grew into a live dialogue. Students were interested in the preservation of heritage and its importance for the present, actively participating in the discussion.

Holding such events within the framework of "Kelajak soati" plays an important role in educating the younger generation, helping them to better understand the history of the country and join national values.
