On August 22, 2025, at the initiative of the Legal Clinic of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, an open dialogue on the topic of "Providing free legal assistance to citizens in need of social protection" was held. The purpose of the event was to provide legal support to socially vulnerable groups of the population, promote mechanisms of free legal assistance and improve the legal literacy of the population.

The dialogue was attended by the First Vice Rector for Youth issues and Spiritual and Educational affairs of UWED O. Yusupdjanov, Advisor to the Rector A. Turdimatov, Director of the Legal Clinic of UWED Z. S. Ubaydullaev, as well as teachers, students of the university, and representatives of the public. The legal problems of citizens in need of social protection, the current procedure for providing free legal advice and the activities of the legal clinic in this area were widely discussed. The participants received answers to their questions directly from the experts.

At the end of the event, recommendations were given on how to effectively protect citizens' rights, expand access to free legal services and promote new initiatives in this area. The legal clinic announced its intention to continue providing free legal advice to the population and expand projects aimed at developing students' practical skills.
