As part of the implementation of the Sustainable development goals, a master class was organised on the topic of “International credit and settlement relations in international private law”

On 20 October this year, Professor of the Department of Civil Law and International Private Law Disciplines at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Imamova Dilfuza Ismailovna, held a master class for 4-year students of Tashkent State University of Law.
The topic of the class was “International Credit and Settlement Relations” within the framework of the discipline “International Private Law”. During the master class, Imamova Dilfuza Ismailovna revealed key issues related to international legal and conflict-of-law regulation of credit and settlement relations. Particular attention was paid to types of international loans and mechanisms of international settlements.
Students gained not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills: real-life cases were examined during the class, which allowed them to better understand the specifics and differences between types of international settlements. The students showed great interest in the topic of the master class, actively participated in the discussion, asked questions about the practical application of international private law in the field of international credit and settlement relations, and received substantive, reasoned answers.
The event contributed to strengthening academic dialogue, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills, and expanding international educational cooperation. The master class was held as part of the implementation of SDG 17 “Partnerships for sustainable development”, specifically paragraph 17.6, which provides for the strengthening of international cooperation in science, technology and innovation.
