As part of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Week, an educational outreach event dedicated to United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12 — Responsible Consumption and Production — was organized for third-grade students of Class 3 “V” at Secondary School No. 109 in Tashkent.

The event introduced students to the importance of reducing waste, separating and recycling materials, using natural resources responsibly, and adopting environmentally conscious practices in everyday life. To reinforce their understanding through hands-on learning, students participated in an interactive activity titled “Sort the Waste,” where they practiced identifying and separating different types of waste.

The programme also included a creative poster-making session, during which students presented their ideas for environmental protection and sustainable development. The initiative contributed to raising environmental awareness among young learners, encouraging responsible consumption habits, and fostering practical skills for protecting the environment from an early age.
