    Second-year students of the Faculty of International Relations of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Alinur Nasimov and Jasurbek Khamrakulov took part in the scientific and educational program “School on Central Asia”, which was held in Bishkek from July 8 to 12, 2025.

    This school was organized by the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund with the participation of experts from the countries of the region and the Russian Federation. The main theme of the school was “The Future of the Energy Sector in Central Asia”.

    Within the framework of the program, the participants discussed the key challenges and opportunities facing the countries of the region, including issues of energy transition, sustainable development, water and energy balance, as well as expanding cooperation in the field of renewable energy sources.

    Particular attention was paid to energy security, diversification of energy sources, the impact of climate change on energy infrastructure, as well as the role of youth and diplomacy in the formation of sustainable energy policy.
