In honor of Youth Day, which is celebrated on June 30, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded a group of advanced, initiative and patriotic youth with high state awards.
Among the awardees is Feruz Khakimov, a 1st-year master's student of the World Economy program of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. He is distinguished by his hard work, talent, active social activities and exemplary lifestyle, and this news was a joyful event for all of us. Feruz was awarded one of the most honorable awards awarded to the youth of our country - “Mard o‘g‘lon”, which was presented to him personally by the President.
“To become the owner of the state award “Mard o‘g‘lon” was my long-term dream. The news that I was awarded this award came as a surprise to me. To receive it from the hands of our President is a special honor that filled me with pride,” Feruz shared.
“When I accepted the award from our esteemed President, he asked me who I see myself in the future. I replied without hesitation that I would become an economist. Then he said that he creates all the opportunities for young people, and urged to always move forward, never resting on their laurels. These words gave me great strength and inspiration.”
Feruz Khakimov demonstrates outstanding success not only in his studies, but also in the social life of the university. His initiative, hard work and scientific activity have become a worthy example for the younger generation.
