The UWED Legal Clinic held an Open Day on the topic of “Youth and Legal Awareness”

On July 5 of this year, the UWED Legal Clinic successfully held an Open Day on the topic of “Youth and Legal Awareness”. The event is an important platform aimed at increasing legal literacy among young people in mahallas and raising the level of legal awareness among the population.
The event was attended by the Director of the UWED Legal Clinic Z.S. Ubaydullaev, specialists of the UWED Youth Affairs Office S. Tillakhodjaeva and A. Rakhmatullaev, tutor of the faculty of "International Law" A. Nasimjonov, students members of the UWED Legal Clinic, as well as citizens and representatives of the Avaikhon, Yangi Avaikhon, Olmachi, Yangi Olmachi, Izhodkor, Geologchilar, Geofizika, Asaka mahallas located in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district, took an active part in the open dialogue.
As part of the Open Day, interesting discussions and exchange of opinions took place on several topical issues around the theme "Youth and legal awareness". In particular, special attention was paid to the following topics:
Cybercrime: modern threats and methods of protection. The importance of cybersecurity in the modern digital era and measures to protect against cybercrime were discussed in detail;
Fight against corruption: principles of openness, transparency and the rule of law. An open dialogue was held on issues of preventing corruption, ensuring transparency and strengthening the rule of law;
Current issues of protecting the rights of minor girls. Existing problems and solutions for protecting the rights of minors and strengthening their social protection were considered.
Open dialogues between members of the UWED Legal Clinic and citizens of mahallas provided the participants with the opportunity to freely express their opinions, get answers to their questions and receive legal advice. The event became an important step in strengthening the legal knowledge of young people and the population, familiarizing them with ways to protect themselves from modern threats.
The UWED Legal Clinic plans to regularly organize such events in the future, thereby continuing to contribute to improving the legal culture in society.
