On June 20, 2025, within the framework of the "Kaldirgach" project implemented by the Legal Clinic at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, a roundtable discussion was held on the topic: "Legal Protection of Children from Violence Based on International Standards."

The main objective of the event was to prevent violence against children, study international experience and practices in the legal protection of minors, and strengthen the foundations of national legislation in this field.

The roundtable was honored by the presence of Zulfiyakhon Nuralieva, Judge for Family Affairs of the Mirzo-Ulugbek District, as the guest of honor. In her speech, she shared real cases from judicial practice related to the protection of children's rights from violence. She elaborated on how children’s interests are protected during family disputes and how their rights are taken into account in court decisions.

Zulfiyakhon Nuralieva also engaged in an open dialogue with participants, shared her many years of practical experience, and emphasized the importance of harmonizing international norms, including the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, with national legislation.

The event was attended by university students, members of the Legal Clinic, and other interested individuals. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange views on the topic discussed.

This event marked another important step within the "Kaldirgach" project aimed at raising legal awareness and strengthening civil society.
