On June 16, 2025, the city stage of the "Student Esports Games Fergana–2025" tournament was held among higher education institutions in Tashkent.

Students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) actively participated in the competition across three esports disciplines: Counter-Strike 2, FIFA 2025, and Dota 2.

The UWED team demonstrated strong technical skills, strategic thinking, and effective teamwork. In particular, the students achieved notable success in Dota 2, securing an honorable 3rd place and thereby qualifying for the tournament’s Republican (national) stage.

This tournament served as an important platform for enhancing students' digital literacy, encouraging productive leisure, and fostering a healthy spirit of competition and collaboration.
