    UWED students organized a training on the topic “The rights of underage girls - protection from violence and discrimination”

    On May 16 of this year, within the framework of the project "Kaldirgoch" (Swallow), organized at the Legal Clinic of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, an event aimed at protecting the rights of underage girls was held.

    As part of the event, 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students of the Faculty of International Law visited the specialized boarding school No77 for blind children in Tashkent.

    There, students conducted a training on the topic "The rights of underage girls - protection from violence and discrimination". At this training, the participants were given explanations on the following issues:

    - Personal inviolability of minors;

    - The right to freedom of expression;

    - Equal opportunities in education;

    - Negative consequences of early marriages;

    - Treatment procedure in cases of discrimination and violence.

    Information was also provided on the state policy to support and protect underage girls based on the content of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 7, 2025 NoPP-103.

    During the event, students organized role-playing games, discussions of life situations and interactive questions and answers, which ensured the active participation of schoolchildren in the training.
