On May 7, of this year, third-year students of the International Law Department of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy visited the Institute of the Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsman) of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan as part of the Ombudsman Club.

During the visit, Aziz Yuldashev, Head of the Department for Working with Appeals of the Ombudsman Secretariat, spoke in detail about the activities of the Ombudsman and its structural divisions.

In addition, the speaker explained what types of appeals are received from citizens by the Department for Working with Appeals of the Secretariat, as well as what mechanisms are used to resolve them.

This event aroused great interest among students, and they received answers to questions regarding the Ombudsman's provision of human rights.

In conclusion, it was noted that as part of the Ombudsman Club, it is possible for students to undergo an internship at the Institute of the Human Rights Commissioner under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
