A practical training on the international methodology for monitoring the achievement of the SDGs was held at UWED

On April 16, 2025, the Head of the Department of International Economics, Tashpulatova Laylo Maratovna, organized and conducted a training session for master’s students on the topic: “International Methodology for Monitoring the Achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).”
During the training, participants were provided with detailed information about international indicators used to assess progress toward achieving the SDGs, monitoring systems, as well as methods of data collection and statistical analysis.
Special attention was given to methodologies developed by the United Nations and other international institutions, with analysis of their applicability and integration into national statistical systems. The training involved interactive formats, allowing students to apply their knowledge in practice through tasks modeled on real-life situations.
The training served as an effective platform for combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills. The event contributed to the development of students' analytical abilities and a deeper understanding of international practices in monitoring the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. This training was mainly held within the reaching the target SDG 17.4.1 Education for SDGs commitment to meaningful education and had very fruitful outcomes for listeners.
