Simulation of the Organization of Turkic States (OTG) model was held at UWED

On April 26 of this year, an academic simulation of the Organization of Turkic States (OTG) model was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
The event was dedicated to the topic: “Turkic Solidarity: New Steps to a Sustainable Future”.
Its goal is to popularize the ideas of regional integration and solidarity between the Turkic states among young people, as well as to familiarize them with the principles of political dialogue and international diplomacy.
The event was opened by the representative of Uzbekistan Murodjon Mustofayev from the OTG headquarters in Istanbul via Zoom.
The participants of the event at UWED, getting used to the role of diplomats, played the roles of delegates from various countries and discussed issues facing the Organization of Turkic States (OTG), learned to conduct discussions on regional and global issues.
During the simulation, student participants, acting as leaders of the Turkic states, held negotiations on key areas such as politics, economics, security and energy. The participants in the role-playing game tried their best to prove themselves, demonstrating the position of "their" country, a reasoned approach and strategic vision.
During the summit, the "delegations" of the UTC countries focused on regional problems, developing proposals for their solution and reaching agreements at the international level.
Following the negotiations in a real diplomatic format, the "Tashkent Declaration - 2025" was adopted. Despite the fact that the document was developed by students, it still contained elements of a real political dialogue.
According to the organizers, the UTC Model plays an important role in developing leadership potential, a culture of diplomatic communication and a systemic approach to international issues among young people.
Participation in this unique experience is an important step for every young diplomat, inspiring them to improve their knowledge and skills in the field of big politics. The organization of Turkic states occupies an important place in the new world order and system of international institutions that are emerging today.
