UWED MUN, representing the «Modeling of the United Nations», prepares the next generation of leaders to solve complex world problems. Within the framework of modeling, participants get acquainted with the principles of diplomacy, develop the skills of public speaking and critical thinking, and also learn to find mutually acceptable solutions.
The UWED MUN club is open to students of all specialties. Participants recreate the work of UN committees, discussing topical international issues such as climate change, human rights and peacekeeping. Teamwork together contributes to the development of cooperation and negotiation skills.
The current UWED MUN-24 hosted a book auction for the first time. This not only contributes to the cultural development of students, but also helps raise funds for charitable initiatives, emphasizing the social responsibility of the club members.
