On November 26–27, 2024, the “6th Dialogue of Central Asian Governments and Youth” was held within the framework of the 14th Traditional Meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asian Countries, which is held annually to strengthen regional cooperation among Central Asian countries and develop dialogue with youth.

In this event, Otabek Turgunboev, the Ambassador of Preventive Diplomacy of the United Nations and a third-year student of the Faculty of International Law at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, participated as a representative of Uzbekistan.

This dialogue provided an opportunity to increase the contribution of youth to regional stability and development, strengthen their interaction with governments, and discuss common perspectives.

In his speech, O.Turgunboev emphasized the indispensable role of youth in ensuring peace, stability, and regional development in Central Asia and highlighted the need for governments to support their initiatives and ideas.

He proposed creating a unified platform for Central Asian youth, through which youth could discuss their ideas and initiatives at the government level. Additionally, he pointed out the importance of implementing joint scientific research, educational exchanges, and environmental projects within the framework of regional youth policy.
