    On April 29 of this year, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, at the initiative of the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work of the UWED O. Yusupdjanov, a master class was held for second-year students of the Faculty of International Law on the topic “Moral threats in the Internet space, cybercrime and methods of combating them”.

    The event was attended by the inspector of the department for combating crime in the field of information technology of the Tashkent city police department (Tashkent city police department) Ulugbek Choriev and the head of the department for crime prevention in the field of information technology of the department for the coordination of internal affairs of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district, Major Doniyor Tursunov.

    During the meeting, experts provided students with detailed information about the types of cybercrime, which is becoming a global problem, its modern manifestations, as well as spiritual threats on the Internet and their negative impact on the consciousness of young people. Students learned about cybersecurity, how to protect personal information, how to use social networks correctly and how to prevent cybercrime.

     Students were given recommendations and information on how to protect their money in the virtual space and what to do if their websites and personal profiles were subjected to a virtual cyberattack.

    The master class continued in the form of an interactive question and answer session. This master class will help young people improve their knowledge in the field of information technology, increase their awareness of cybersecurity issues, and create a basis for their active participation in the process of building a legal state in the future.
