On October 31, 2026, the Turkiston Palace of Arts hosted a gala event dedicated to Diwali-2026, India's premier national festival of lights.

Third- and fourth-year students from the Faculties of International Relations and International Law at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, who study Hindi under the guidance of their instructor Bernara Mansurovna Giyazova, took an active part in the cultural program.

The UWED students demonstrated exceptional stagecraft, language proficiency, and a deep respect for Indian traditions. The young diplomats' performances earned high praise and enthusiastic reviews from the guests. Participating in such events allows students to gain a deeper understanding of the values and heritage of the country whose language they are studying.

The event once again demonstrated that cultural diplomacy serves as an effective tool for strengthening bilateral ties and fostering youth cooperation.
