UWED International Relations Students Embark on an Educational Visit to Bukhara

An educational and cultural visit to the ancient and unique city of Bukhara was organized for students of the Faculty of International Relations at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED).
The main purpose of the visit was to enrich students’ historical and cultural knowledge, strengthen their appreciation of Uzbekistan’s national values and rich historical heritage, and foster patriotism, national identity, and respect for historical memory among the younger generation.
During the visit, students explored architectural monuments, historical landmarks, and notable sites that reflect Bukhara’s centuries-old history. They also gained valuable insights into the city’s rich cultural heritage, distinctive architectural traditions, and the national customs and traditions of the Uzbek people.
Of particular interest to the students was Bukhara’s contribution to the development of world civilization and science, its historical role along the Great Silk Road, and its significance in the development of international cultural relations.
Such educational trips help broaden students’ horizons, complement their theoretical knowledge with real-life experiences, and deepen their understanding of historical and cultural heritage as future professionals in international relations.
The visit organized for UWED students provided not only unforgettable memories but also valuable knowledge and meaningful cultural experiences.
