UWED Rector Meets with Active Students

On October 10, 2026, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) hosted a meeting between Sodyq Safoev, First Deputy Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Rector of UWED, and the university's youth leader and active students.

The meeting was attended by members of the university administration, faculty deans, course coordinators, and active students.

The meeting aimed to promote open and constructive dialogue between the university administration and students, gather their views and suggestions, and support their initiative and leadership potential.

During the meeting, participants discussed ways to increase student engagement in university life, encourage youth-led initiatives, strengthen teamwork, and expand opportunities for students to develop their intellectual and creative potential.

Particular attention was given to broadening student participation in university affairs and development processes, strengthening systematic cooperation with the youth leader and active students, and supporting the implementation of promising ideas and projects.

The open dialogue provided students with an opportunity to present their initiatives, share suggestions for improving the educational process and university environment, and exchange views directly with the Rector on matters of interest and concern.

The primary objective of the meeting was to strengthen mutual trust and effective cooperation between the university administration and students, support new ideas and initiatives, and encourage active, responsible young people with strong leadership potential.
