    UWED Master’s Student Participates in the Raisina-IE Global Student Challenge 2026

    On March 5 of this year, Sanjar R. Safarov, a Master’s student of the Water Diplomacy program at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), participated in the prestigious Raisina-IE Global Student Challenge 2026, held in New Delhi, India. He took part in the event as a representative of the Central Asian region, particularly Uzbekistan.

    The international initiative was jointly organized by the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and IE University. The competition brought together 84 talented students from 84 leading universities across eight regions of the world, engaging them in discussions on the use of artificial intelligence for both civilian and military purposes.

    Sanjar R. Safarov actively participated in the global conference, which gathered talented students from leading universities around the world. During international discussions, he shared his perspectives and proposed innovative solutions for the use of artificial intelligence in the education systems of developing countries. His participation contributes to strengthening Uzbekistan’s role in the global community and promotes the active involvement of young professionals in diplomacy and international politics.

    For reference: The Raisina-IE Global Student Challenge 2026 was held within the framework of the Raisina Dialogue, one of India’s most prestigious forums on geopolitics and geoeconomics. Celebrating its 11th anniversary, the event was officially opened by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and President of Finland Alexander Stubb.

    This year’s challenge was dedicated to the theme “Bringing Together Perspectives on Renewed Global Governance: Artificial Intelligence”, focusing on pressing global issues such as the role of artificial intelligence in governance and emerging digital challenges.
