UWED and Uzbekneftegaz discussed prospects for cooperation in personnel training and analytical research

On September 26, 2026, a working meeting between the management of UWED and JSC Uzbekneftegaz was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and Rector of UWED, Sodik Safoev, and the Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz, Abdugani Sanginov.

The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation in personnel training and retraining, expert and analytical activities, and the development of professional ties.

Particular attention was paid to developing educational programs in management, marketing, and artificial intelligence technologies tailored to the company's needs.

The meeting also addressed the development of expert and analytical cooperation, the implementation of joint research projects in regional energy, and cooperation with foreign partners and enterprises in the energy sector, including hydropower.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in further developing cooperation and implementing joint initiatives.
