UWED Hosts HIV Prevention Awareness Event

On 22–24 September this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, in cooperation with the Tashkent City AIDS Centre, held an awareness event focused on HIV prevention, early detection and improving health literacy among students.

During the event, specialists provided students and university staff with detailed information on HIV, its transmission routes and prevention measures. They also explained the importance of early detection and timely access to medical care.

The discussions included recommendations on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, taking personal responsibility for one’s health and preventing HIV infection. Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers from specialists.
