First-year students are being welcomed and accommodated at the university of world economy and diplomacy

Today, on September 6, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy continues welcoming first-year students as part of the preparations for the new academic year, while the process of accommodating them in student residences is actively underway.

To ensure a warm welcome for students joining the university for the first time, provide accommodation, offer essential information, assist with directions and campus navigation, and promptly address organizational matters, responsible staff members, active students, and volunteers have been engaged. Representatives responsible for student housing, members of the Youth Union, the “Qalqon” public volunteer group, and student volunteers are actively participating in welcoming newcomers, guiding them to their accommodation, and providing practical assistance throughout the settlement process.

Special attention is being given to students arriving in Tashkent from other regions of Uzbekistan. During their first days, they are being provided with guidance, assistance in moving into student residences, and all necessary support to help them adapt to their new environment. To expand accommodation opportunities, the university is utilizing not only its own student residence halls but also hostels and rented apartments. This approach enables the university to provide housing as quickly as possible and ensure that students’ first days in Tashkent are comfortable and well organized.
